MISSION - ABOUT US

Morning Glory Liturgical Dance Ministry was started in 2003 by Mary Hicks.
God placed it on her heart to start a dance ministry within her church: Church On The Rock New Haven. Pastors Todd & Leslie Foster supported the call and have been encouraging ever since. We minister in dance under the leading and anointing of the Holy Spirit.

We minister through dance, pageantry, and drama during praise & worship or as a special. Morning Glory's mission is to minister as dancing preachers, preaching the gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord."
Luke 4:18-19 

We have been blessed to minister in and around Connecticut at other churches, gospel events, special occasions, detention center, shelter, urban areas, school and more. We will continue to do the work that God has placed before us to minister to the Nations through Worship.
